Detailed Job Description

As a RAN Integration Engineer supporting multi-vendor mobile network rollouts in Bangalore via Uniinfo Telecom Services Ltd., you will take full operational, tactical, and technical ownership of radio access network integration, parameter provisioning, and configuration management. Your day-to-day responsibilities include integrating and configuring Ericsson and Nokia RAN nodes, managing site configurations via the Unison CM platform, verifying 2G, 4G, and 5G radio connectivity, and performing rigorous pre-launch and post-launch testing. You will collaborate closely with field deployment teams, client project managers, and network operations centers (NOC) to troubleshoot integration bottlenecks, resolve alarms, and ensure seamless network handover. Furthermore, you will maintain meticulous integration logs, configuration baselines, and technical deployment reports.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end multi-vendor RAN integration, commissioning, and configuration for mobile network sites.
• Configure, integrate, and troubleshoot Ericsson and Nokia radio access network equipment and base stations.
• Support 2G, 4G LTE, and 5G NR radio access network deployments across regional circles.
• Manage site data configuration, parameter templates, and network inventory workflows using the Unison CM platform.
• Perform pre-integration checks, post-integration functional testing, and alarm clearance verification.
• Coordinate seamlessly with field installation teams, RF optimization engineers, and client network operations.
• Troubleshoot complex integration failures, hardware configuration errors, and transport connectivity issues.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, integration runbooks, and site acceptance records.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 4 to 5 years of professional hands-on experience in telecommunications RAN integration, deployment, or configuration management.
• Proven practical expertise with Ericsson and Nokia RAN platforms, baseband units, and radio cabinets.
• Deep technical knowledge and understanding of 2G, 4G LTE, and 5G NR radio access network architectures.
• Hands-on experience working with the Unison CM configuration management platform.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Preferred candidates with regional residency or professional background from South India.
• Mandatory legal eligibility to work in India with local residency and availability for on-site operations in Bangalore.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Professional vendor certifications (e.g., Ericsson Certified Associate / Professional, Nokia Bell Labs certifications).
• Familiarity with automated scripting and Python tools for bulk parameter configuration and validation.
• Prior experience in single-RAN (SRAN) modernization projects and multi-operator network sharing.
• Experience with OSS/NMS network management systems and automated CI/CD deployment pipelines.
