Job Summary

The RF Technician will be responsible for RF subsystem integration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and field support activities related to communication, telemetry, datalink, and RF systems. The role involves working with RF test equipment, supporting UAV field trials, conducting module and system-level testing, and ensuring compliance with engineering, quality, and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform RF module-level and system-level testing, integration, and troubleshooting.
• Operate RF test equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers (VNA),
• Signal Generators, and Power Meters.
• Conduct RF measurements including RF power, VSWR, return loss, and cable loss.
• Support UAV field trials, flight testing, and deployment activities.
• Maintain test records, reports, calibration status, and system documentation.
• Manage RF spares, components, and test equipment inventory.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering procedures.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma in Electronics & Communication.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in RF testing, integration, or maintenance.
• Experience in UAV, aerospace, defense, or wireless communication systems preferred.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of RF fundamentals, antennas, and wireless communication
• principles.
• Hands-on experience with RF measurements and test equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, BOMs, and test procedures.
• Knowledge of RF communication systems, telemetry systems, and datalinks.
• Familiarity with RF components such as antennas, filters, amplifiers, transceivers, and RF cables/connectors.
