R & D Manager Data Scientist Navi Mumbai (India)

Role & responsibilities

Carries out activities within their area of expertise of data and digital tools.

Contributes to R&D; projects by implementing their technical and cross-functional skills.

Perform statistical and data analyses to support lab teams: method validations, design of experiments, interactive data visualizations, statistical interpretation of results.

Apply data science analyses on specific R&D; project datasets: dataset preparation and quality checks ; data visualization ; unsupervised exploratory analysis ; predictive model building.

Communicate results and findings to multidisciplinary R&D; project teams and discuss next steps. Write reports on work performed ; document software code.

Hold the role of data steward: help teams apply our entitys Data Governance, apply and teach recommended data management practices.

In close association with our entitys data engineers, monitor and develop labs data management infrastructure: automated instrument data capture flows, data visualiztion services.

Coordinates all stakeholders involved in their study.

Reports research results in writing and/or through internal/external presentations

Proposes recent data tools.

Actively contributes to the exchange of ideas.

Purpose

Conduct the Project's R&D; activities in accordance with the multi-year program defined and approved by the project manager and program manager.

Carry out the various actions under their responsibility.

Contribute to resolving standard problems in accordance with the R&D; project objectives and to the transfer of knowledge to the Researchers.

Actively contribute to the technical development of their field, relying on proven and creative methods and their technical expertise.

Share their technical skills to advance their team and the R&D; projects they contribute to.

Adapt their skill level understanding the needs. .
