Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team at David Associates. The candidate will be responsible for construction quantity calculations, material estimation, BOQ preparation, and project cost management.

Responsibilities

• Calculate construction material quantities, including cement, sand, aggregates, bricks, blocks, steel, and concrete.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and quantity take-off sheets.
• Calculate quantities for excavation, PCC, RCC, brickwork, plastering, tiling, and painting.
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Prepare project cost estimates and material requirement statements.
• Maintain Excel sheets for material consumption and quantity tracking.
• Assist in preparing quotations and rate analysis.
• Verify construction measurements and contractor bills.
• Coordinate with site engineers to check quantities and reduce material wastage.
• Prepare daily and weekly material consumption reports.

Requirements

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of construction estimation and quantity surveying.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Salary: ₹15,000+ per month, based on skills and experience.
