Job Description Quantity Surveyor (Male )

We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) with at least 1 year of experience in the interior design/ Construction industry. The candidate should have good knowledge of quantity take-offs, BOQ preparation, and material estimation for interior projects.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for residential and commercial interior projects.
• Take accurate quantities from architectural drawings, layouts, and working drawings.
• Calculate quantities for civil, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, false ceiling, and other interior works.
• Review drawings and identify scope differences, missing details, and quantity variations.
• Verify site measurements and compare actual quantities with BOQ estimates wherever required.
• Maintain accurate quantity sheets, estimation records, and project documentation.
• Ensure accuracy in measurements, calculations, and BOQ submissions within the given timelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 1+ year of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably in an interior design or execution company.
• Good knowledge of quantity take-offs and BOQ preparation.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, working drawings, and interior layouts.
• Good understanding of interior materials, specifications.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for quantity calculations and BOQ preparation.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD for reading drawings and taking measurements is preferred.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good attention to detail and ability to coordinate with multiple teams.
