Quality Engineer

Inspect and verify incoming raw materials, components and finished products. Perform in-process and final inspection as per drawings and specifications. Read and interpret 2D & 3D engineering drawings, GD&T and dimensional tolerances . Prepare and maintain Inspection Reports, Quality Reports and Check Sheets . Handle customer complaints and coordinate for corrective actions. Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge and Dial Gauge . Coordinate with Production and Design teams to resolve quality issues. Ensure products comply with customer requirements and quality standards. Maintain quality documentation and records. Assist in internal and supplier quality audits. Required SkillsGood knowledge of Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing Processes . Strong knowledge of 2D & 3D Engineering Drawings, GD&T and Tolerances . Knowledge of Quality Control / Quality Assurance . Good knowledge of measuring instruments. Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office . Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work with Production, Design and Purchase teams.
