Quality Analyst

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with 1–2 years of experience in functional testing, defect management, regression testing, integration validation, and quality reporting. The candidate will be responsible for reproducing and analyzing defects, validating fixes, supporting regression and integration testing, maintaining release evidence, and contributing to overall product quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing of applications.
• Reproduce reported defects and analyze steps, conditions, and environments required to recreate issues.
• Log, track, prioritize, and follow up on defects using tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
• Retest defect fixes and verify that issues are completely resolved.
• Execute regression testing to ensure new changes do not impact existing functionality.
• Perform integration validation across applications, services, APIs, or connected components.
• Prepare and maintain test cases, test scenarios, test data, and test execution reports.
• Collect and maintain release evidence including test results, defect status, screenshots/logs, and validation records.
• Support release readiness activities by providing quality status and test execution reports.
• Identify quality risks, recurring defects, and gaps in test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve defects.
• Participate in defect triage, release discussions, and Agile ceremonies.
• Ensure testing activities are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and practices.
