QA Test Engineer, Networking Hardware (On-site, Zirakpur)

MoFi Network Inc. manufactures cellular routers. We’re hiring a dedicated tester for our Zirakpur office.

About the role

You’ll test router firmware before it ships to customers. This means verifying that configurations apply correctly, survive reboots, and behave the way the device reports. You’ll work through the router’s management interface, test settings pushed from our provisioning server, and document anything that doesn’t work as expected.

What you’ll do

Test router firmware builds: configuration, connectivity, VPN setup, device behaviour

Verify settings applied through the interface actually take effect on the device

Test remote configuration and provisioning workflows

Run regression checks before each firmware release

Write bug reports a developer can reproduce without follow-up questions

Produce weekly test reports

Required

1 to 3 years in networking, technical support, NOC, or QA of network products

Solid grasp of networking fundamentals: IP addressing, routing, DNS, NAT, DHCP, WiFi

Methodical working style. You check everything, not just the obvious paths.

Clear written English

Comfortable being corrected. Testing means your findings get challenged and sometimes you’re wrong. That has to be fine with you.

Plus points

VPN using experience, particularly Wire Guard or OpenVPN

Cellular or LTE networking exposure

On-site in Zirakpur, five days a week. Not a remote role.
