QA Manual Test Engineer

What you’ll do

✅ Review requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria to spot risks and gaps early

✅ Create and run test plans, test cases and traceability documentation

✅ Perform functional, regression, integration, system, exploratory, smoke and UAT testing on web apps and APIs

✅ Validate data integrity with SQL and test integrations across databases and third-party services

✅ Log clear, evidence-backed defects and verify fixes

✅ Work closely with developers, product managers, BAs and automation engineers

✅ Report test progress, defect trends and release-readiness to stakeholders

What we’re looking for

🔹 Strong testing fundamentals: test design techniques, defect lifecycle, risk-based testing

🔹 Hands-on with web apps, REST APIs, databases and integrated systems

🔹 SQL, Postman, browser dev tools, and Jira or similar tools

🔹 Experience in Agile teams

🔹 Sharp analytical, documentation and communication skills

Nice to have: accessibility, performance, security, mobile or cross-browser testing exposure; awareness of what to automate; ISTQB certification.
