We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer ll to join our team at Jar in Bengaluru. As a Quality Assurance Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products and applications meet the required quality standards before they are released. You will be conducting manual testing across multiple platforms and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and address defects and bugs.

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the development process.

Assist in the creation of test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications..

Ability to think out of the box use cases/corner cases to build quality products.

Actively engage in the entire software test life cycle (STLC).

Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and improve user experience.

Conduct root cause analysis of issues and implement preventive measures

4-6 years of relevant experience in manual quality assurance, coupled with a robust understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and QA processes.

• Demonstrated proficiency in testing mobile applications (Android/iOS) and web applications, with strong capabilities in both frontend and backend testing.
• Extensive experience with bug-tracking systems, and other testing utilities such as Charles, Postman, and Proxyman.
• Competence in SQL/MongoDB queries..
• Selenium, Rest Assured, Appium) is advantageous
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.
