QA Engineer (Indore)

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications using industry-standard automation frameworks.
• Create, execute, and manage test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Develop and enhance test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or similar technologies.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Perform functionality, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing across multiple environments.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects through resolution.
• Execute API testing and validation using tools such as Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Analyze test results, prepare quality reports, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Contribute to quality assurance best practices, process improvements, and test automation initiatives.
• Participate in code reviews of automation scripts and ensure adherence to coding standards.
• Document testing processes, automation frameworks, and quality metrics for knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in CS/IT/EC or MCA.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in QA Automation or Software Testing.
• Strong experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, and C#.
• Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Good understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC.
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.
• Knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding version control systems such as Git.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
