About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Associate QA Engineer Automation to build and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Playwright and Karate Framework, along with expertise in API automation, CI/CD integration, and Agile development.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Playwright and Karate Framework and test cases using Java and Type

Script/Java

Script Develop automated UI, API, integration, and regression test suites.

Validate REST APIs and automate API testing using Karate.

Integrate automated tests into Jenkins and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality software releases.

Track defects using Jira and contribute to continuous improvement of automation and QA processes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

5 years of experience in Automation Testing.

Strong programming skills in Java and Type

Script/Java

Script.

Hands-on experience with Playwright (UI automation) and Karate Framework (API automation).

Strong understanding of REST APIs, HTTP protocols, and automation best practices.

Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Agile methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Ability to solve coding questions involving String Manipulation (e.g., reversing strings, longest substring, pattern matching).

Should be able to solve coding questions that involve String Manipulation (e.g.,reversing strings, fi nding longest substring, pattern matching, or phrasing text) Preferred Add-ons:

Experience in NGS software and/or bioinformatics applications.
