Qa Automation Playwrite Engineer Ahmedabad (India)

Position Overview

We are looking for a Full-Stack QA Engineer who can work across both manual and automation testing while owning end-to-end product quality. The ideal candidate thinks like a quality owner, identifies edge cases, automates repetitive testing, and communicates risks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Design, write, and execute manual test cases (functional, regression, exploratory, UI/UX, edge cases).

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript).

Own quality for assigned modules/features from requirement analysis to production release.

Perform API testing using Postman, REST Assured, or similar tools.

Log, track, and validate defects until closure.

Participate in requirement reviews and follow shift-left testing practices.

Prepare test strategies, test plans, and release checklists.

Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams.

Continuously improve test coverage and testing efficiency.
