Role: Test Automation Engineer Consultant

We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join the Global Technology & Operations – IAM Team. The role involves designing, developing, and executing reusable automation frameworks and regression test suites across IAM services and supporting applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, review, and execute automated test scripts using Selenium & JMeter
• Build and maintain reusable automation frameworks and regression test suites
• Perform UI, API, backend, functional, integration, smoke, and regression testing
• Automate testing for Identity & Access Management (IAM), identity verification, fraud mitigation, and authentication workflows
• Integrate automation suites into CI/CD pipelines
• Develop Test Plans, Test Strategies, Quality Management Plans, and environment plans
• Create and execute Jira Xray test cases, test sets, and test executions with proper evidence
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through Jira/Xray
• Collaborate with developers, security engineers, tech leads, and product teams for defect resolution
• Support Performance, Security, Accessibility, and other Non-Functional Testing
• Ensure traceability between User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, Test Cases, and Defects
• Provide QA governance, risk management, and automation best-practice guidance

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of QA/Test Automation experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, JMeter, TestNG
• Experience with Cypress / Playwright
• Strong API automation experience using Postman
• Experience with REST/SOAP, HTTP, TLS, Cookies
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, OIDC
• Strong understanding of Web & Mobile Testing
• Experience with Jira, Jira Xray, Confluence, Jira Align
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins & CI/CD
• Experience with Unix/Linux scripting
• Experience in ETL/Data validation – DataStage, Informatica, or similar
• Knowledge of Agile / Hybrid methodologies
• Strong understanding of automation framework design, reusability, and maintainability

Good to Have

• IAM / Identity Verification / Authentication testing experience
• Experience with Fraud Detection / Risk Scoring workflows
• Experience with Cucumber, FitNesse, SoapUI, Protractor
• Knowledge of J2EE applications
• Experience working across large-scale enterprise platforms
