Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks following industry best practices.
• Analyze application requirements and create reliable XPath locators for web automation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop and execute API automation tests using Rest Assured.
• Validate JSON responses and work with POJO classes for request/response serialization and deserialization.
• Manage project dependencies and build automation using Maven.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Continuously improve automation coverage and testing processes.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Java, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections Framework, and Object concepts.
• Good understanding of Maven for dependency and build management.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver for web automation.
• Strong expertise in identifying and creating dynamic XPath expressions.
• Good understanding of automation frameworks and framework types (Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid, Page Object Model, etc.).
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and API testing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Rest Assured, including JSON objects and POJO classes.
• Good understanding of Agile software development methodology.
• Experience working with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or Bugzilla.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Knowledge of Git or other version control systems.
• Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing environments.
