QA Automation (4+ Years Experience)

Hiring: SDET 2 / QA Automation Engineer – Backend & API Testing

We are looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of relevant experience in backend testing, API automation, and data validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design test strategies, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Develop API automation scripts using Java and RestAssured, with Python scripting as an additional skill.
• Build, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks with reusable components and robust assertions.
• Perform data validation using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Conduct performance testing using JMeter or Locust and analyze performance metrics.
• Debug issues across APIs, databases, AWS, Kubernetes, queues, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Maintain Jenkins CI/CD pipelines and Allure reports.
• Manage defects, perform root cause analysis, and support production validation.
• Leverage AI-driven workflows and tools to improve testing efficiency, automation, and failure analysis.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in backend and API testing.
• Strong Java and RestAssured API automation skills, with practical coding and framework-development experience.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, SQL queries, and data validation.
• Experience with JMeter/Locust for performance testing.
• Working knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, application logs, and cross-layer debugging.
• Experience with Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and clear technical communication.

Good to Have: gRPC, Airflow, Selenium/Playwright, AI/ML application testing, and experience using AI tools to improve testing workflows.

We are looking for candidates who can independently develop and maintain automation scripts, explain frameworks they have worked on, investigate failures systematically, and take ownership of quality engineering.
