Python Backend Developer Intern

We are looking for a passionate

Python Backend Developer Intern to join our engineering team and work on an exciting AI-powered calling platform.

This is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience building real-world systems involving Artificial Intelligence, voice technology, telephony, APIs, and scalable backend infrastructure.

What You'll Work On

• Build and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Develop APIs and backend services for our AI calling platform.
• Integrate AI/LLM services, Speech-to-Text (STT), and Text-to-Speech (TTS) technologies.
• Work on real-time voice and communication workflows.
• Build integrations with telephony and calling systems.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, background workers, and asynchronous processing.
• Help build scalable systems capable of handling a large volume of calls and conversations.
• Debug, test, and improve production applications.
• Collaborate with the engineering team and contribute to real products.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of Python.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs.
• Familiarity with FastAPI, Django, Flask, or similar backend frameworks.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Understanding of Git and version control.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Passion for learning and building real-world applications.

Nice to Have

• FastAPI and asynchronous Python.
• Docker.
• Redis.
• Background task processing.
• WebSockets or real-time communication.
• AI/LLM integrations.
• Speech-to-Text (STT) or Text-to-Speech (TTS).
• SIP, VoIP, or telephony systems.
