Purchases Manager

We are seeking a skilled Purchases Manager to oversee and manage the purchasing activities of our organization. This role requires a strong understanding of inventory management and the ability to work closely with various departments to meet their purchasing needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
• Manage the procurement process from sourcing to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contracts and pricing, ensuring the best value for the organization.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the stores department to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Utilize software tools such as Tally Prime and MS Excel for tracking purchases and inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all purchasing activities.
• Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Purchases Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of stores and inventory management principles.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Familiarity with HVAC, manufacturing, refrigeration, and cold room operations is a plus.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
