Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and well-networked PRO for our Pathology Lab. The candidate must have thorough knowledge of pathology lab tests and services, and will be responsible for promoting the lab to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes to generate referral business and increase sample flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field visits to doctors, clinics, hospitals, and nursing homes to promote pathology and diagnostic services.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with referring doctors and healthcare providers
• Generate referrals and grow daily sample flow/test volumes in the assigned territory
• Detail the lab's test menu, health packages, special investigations, and new tests to doctors confidently.
• Achieve monthly targets for new doctor tie-ups and referral revenue.
• Organize health check-up camps, CMEs, doctor meets, and promotional activities.
• Onboard collection centres, franchise partners, and B2B clients.
• Coordinate with the lab for urgent reports, home collections, and special test requests from doctors.
• Resolve doctor and patient queries, including basic technical queries on tests and reports.
• Submit daily visit reports (DVR), maintain doctor database, and track referral trends.
• Monitor competitor labs' pricing, test menus, and schemes; report market intelligence.

Pathology Knowledge Required

• Sound knowledge of routine and specialized tests (Biochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology, Serology, Histopathology, etc.)
• Familiarity with common profiles/packages – CBC, LFT, KFT, Lipid, Thyroid, HbA1c, hormone assays, etc.
• Awareness of sample requirements, fasting norms, and turnaround times (TAT)
• Understanding of NABL/quality standards as selling points.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate; B.Sc. / DMLT / BMLT / Life Sciences background preferred
• 2–5 years as PRO / Marketing Executive in a pathology lab or diagnostic centre
• Strong local doctor network in the territory
• Excellent communication in Hindi and English
• Two-wheeler with valid driving license – mandatory
• Basic computer skills (Excel, WhatsApp reporting, CRM apps)
