Promoter – Old Mobile Purchaser Mumbai (India)

Position: Promoter – Old Mobile Purchase Role Summary We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Promoter to represent our brand at retail outlets, events, and promotional activities. The ideal candidate will engage customers, drive product visibility, and support sales targets through effective in-person promotion — specifically encouraging customers to sell/exchange their old mobile phones with us. Key Responsibilities Approach and engage walk-in/passerby customers to explain their old mobile value/exchange offer Explain the phone valuation process, pricing, and exchange perks clearly to customers Assist customers with device inspection basics (visual condition, working status) before handing off to the valuation team. Achieve daily/weekly/monthly targets for number of devices purchased Explain ongoing offers or exchange schemes to walk-in customers Collect basic customer and device details accurately for documentation Address customer queries and objections, and escalate complex cases to the supervisor Maintain daily activity/purchase reports and submit to the reporting manager Ensure brand and compliance guidelines are followed during every transaction Required Skills Solid communication and persuasion skills Confident, outgoing, and customer-friendly attitude Basic numerical ability (for pricing/valuation conversations) Ability to stand/work for extended hours at the outlet Basic knowledge of mobile phone brands/models is a plus Local language proficiency; basic English preferred Qualifications Minimum 10+2 or Graduate in any discipline Prior experience in mobile retail, promotions, or exchange/buyback business preferred (not mandatory) Other Requirements Willingness to work weekends/holidays as per outlet/event schedule Presentable and well-groomed appearance Basic smartphone handling knowledge required Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Perks: Health insurance Paid sick time Work Locatio
