Product Operations Manager
SPIRO
Job Description & Responsibilities
Role - Product Operations Manager
Job Location - Nigeria, Africa
About Us
Spiro is Africa’s largest EV player, accelerating the continent’s shift to electric mobility. We’ve
grown 5× in the last year and are targeting a 100× scale. With four manufacturing facilities
and 1,000+ retail outlets across 10 countries, we pair industrial scale with pan-Africa reach.
The role
Be the vital bridge between Spiro’s field operations and the mobility product team. Launch
every release into live operations across our seven markets, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Benin,
Togo, Nigeria and Cameroon, make ground teams successful with it, and carry evidencebacked
feedback and priorities back to product and tech. Embedded in the market, you
ensure what is shipped becomes what is used. The role reports directly to the CEO and is
field-based, with 50-70% of your time spent in market.
Key Responsibilties
Feature Adoption & Enablement
In-market launches across lead and dealer management, sales, delivery, warehouse and
manufacturing tools; training and local champions in every market; adoption driven until
each feature becomes the default way of working.
Feedback Loop
Structured product feedback from ground teams covering usability, local nuances and
market-specific needs, triaged and prioritised into clear, actionable insights that product and
tech can move on quickly.
Prioritisation with the PCH
A live partnership with the Product Country Head and central product team on what each
market needs next, backed by usage data and field insight, and voiced in roadmap calls.
Adoption Measurement
Adoption and usage metrics for every release; regular scorecards and quantified on-ground
impact so wins are visible and scalable.
Field Intelligence
Market intelligence flowing into product thinking: competitive moves, dealer and customer
behaviour shifts, and emerging needs that shape the roadmap early.
Cross-Market Alignment
Adoption playbooks and learnings carried across all seven markets and extended to each
new one as we expand, so every rollout benefits from what has already worked.
We are looking for -

- operations strategy within a high-growth environment.
- A proven track record at the intersection of business operations and technical product
- development, with hands-on use of CRMs, dashboards and workflow tools.

- Credibility with both field stakeholders and product teams, supported by precise written
- communication across requirements, insights and performance reporting.
- A genuine affinity for field work across dealerships, warehouses and delivery operations,
- with a willingness to travel regularly across markets.
- Professional fluency in English, with French and/or Swahili considered a strong advantage.
