Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Engineer with 6-10 years of experience in procurement and sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for construction, industrial, or EPC projects. The candidate will be responsible for vendor management, procurement planning, cost optimization, contract negotiations, and ensuring timely delivery of materials to support project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Review project specifications, BOQs, drawings, and material requirements.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
• Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and contractors.
• Float RFQs, obtain quotations, and perform techno-commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Prepare comparative statements and recommendations for management approval.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order execution.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Project, and Site teams for procurement requirements.
• Track material deliveries and ensure adherence to project timelines.
• Resolve supplier performance, quality, and logistics issues.
• Maintain procurement records, vendor databases, and documentation.
• Conduct market research and identify alternate sourcing opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual obligations.
• Support project cost control initiatives and budget monitoring.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 6-10 years of procurement experience in Construction, Industrial, EPC, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Data Center, or Manufacturing projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and contract administration.
• Experience in sourcing MEP, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Industrial materials.
• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP MM (Mandatory Preferred), Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
• Good knowledge of Incoterms, supply chain management, and logistics coordination.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement reporting tools.
