Key Responsibilities

Design, configure, and commission Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Develop and implement advanced process control (APC) strategies to optimize plant performance and product quality.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation, control loops, and automation systems.

Collaborate with process engineers and operations teams to identify control system improvement opportunities.

Develop and maintain P&IDs, loop diagrams, control narratives, and cause & effect matrices.

Ensure the reliability and availability of control systems through regular maintenance and upgrades.

Stay abreast of new technologies in process control and automation and recommend their adoption.

Provide technical support and training to plant personnel on control systems and instrumentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in process control engineering within a chemical or industrial manufacturing environment.

Proven experience with DCS (e.g., Honeywell, Emerson) and PLC platforms (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley).

Strong understanding of control theory, instrumentation, and safety instrumented systems (SIS).

Proficiency in programming and configuring control systems.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to work on-site in Surat, Gujarat, IN, and participate in occasional plant shutdowns or emergency support as needed.
