Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Private Cloud Engineer/Architect to design, implement, automate, and manage enterprise private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with virtualization, software-defined data centers, Kubernetes/container platforms, cloud automation, networking, storage, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable private cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments.
• Manage and administer VMware/VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) or equivalent private cloud platforms.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift environments and containerized workloads.
• Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, load balancing, and disaster recovery components.
• Implement high availability, scalability, backup, and business continuity solutions.
• Integrate private cloud environments with AWS, Azure, or GCP where required.
• Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and utilization.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and application issues.
• Create architecture documentation, technical standards, and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, network, storage, and infrastructure teams.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on private cloud initiatives.

• VMware vSphere / ESXi / vCenter / VMware Cloud Foundation
• Kubernetes / OpenShift
• Linux administration
• Cloud networking and security
• Compute, storage, and virtualization
• Terraform / Ansible
• Python or PowerShell scripting
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• Monitoring and troubleshooting
• High Availability and Disaster Recovery
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, load balancing, firewalls, and VLANs
