Principal QA Automation Engineer

Role Summary

We are seeking a Principal QA Engineer (5+ years experience) drive AI-led testing

transformation, API automation, and high-throughput enterprise quality.

Key Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Test Automation, Quality Engineering, or Software

Engineering.

• Hands-on expertise in API , DB Testing & Automation using REST Assured, Postman

(with Newman CLI)

• API + automation + Playwright+ Rest Assured, Web based testing

Must-have skills

• Strong Java (OOP, collections, streams), with TestNG and Maven.
• Hands-on Rest-Assured experience:
• A solid grasp of HTTP, REST and status codes, and how to read OpenAPI/Swagger

specs.

• Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright for UI automation.
• SQL for checking backend data.
• Git workflows (branching, PRs, resolving merge conflicts) and CI/CD, ideally GitHub

Actions.

• Allure or a similar reporting tool.
• Experience testing LLM or AI features: fuzzy or semantic assertions, Exposure to

DeepEval tools.

Soft skills

• Takes ownership of quality across several product teams.
• Writes clearly, in bug reports, playbooks and PR descriptions.
• Can push back on unclear requirements and keep test cases in line with the specs.
