Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Polymer / Materials Engineer with Additive Manufacturing experience to work on an international project involving FGF (pellet-based) 3D printing for marine and subsea applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and evaluate suitable polymer and composite materials for marine applications.
• Evaluate materials such as PETG, PA, PP, PC, PPS, PEEK and carbon/glass-fiber reinforced polymers.
• Assess material performance under seawater, UV, temperature, pressure, creep and fatigue conditions.
• Evaluate suitability of materials for FGF/pellet extrusion 3D printing.
• Study melt flow, extrusion temperature, interlayer adhesion, warpage and shrinkage.
• Support structural performance evaluation for components subjected to up to 40 bar hydrostatic pressure.
• Prepare material comparison, technical evaluation and recommendation reports.
• Coordinate material testing and validation activities when required.

Required Skills

• Degree in Polymer Engineering, Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of thermoplastics and polymer composites.
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing / FGF / pellet extrusion.
• Knowledge of carbon-fiber and glass-fiber reinforced polymers.
• Understanding of polymer mechanical properties, creep, fatigue and environmental resistance.
• Good analytical and technical documentation skills.

Preferred

Experience in marine, subsea, offshore, automotive or other demanding engineering applications will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
