Role Description The Pharmacy Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ranchi, responsible for overseeing day-to-day pharmacy operations across the retail chain. This role includes managing pharmacy staff schedules, supervising pharmacy technicians, and ensuring accurate, safe, and compliant dispensing of medications.

The manager will monitor inventory levels, optimize workflow, and implement processes to enhance efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting preventive care initiatives, handling escalated customer issues, and collaborating with leadership on performance metrics and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Operations Management and Pharmacy Operations to oversee daily processes, workflow, and performance.
• Solid knowledge of Pharmacy Practice and general Pharmacy standards to ensure safe, ethical, and compliant medication dispensing.
• Experience supervising Pharmacy Technicians and pharmacy staff, including training, mentoring, and performance management.
• Relevant professional degree or diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, D.Pharm, or equivalent) with appropriate licensure/registration as required.
• Experience in retail pharmacy or healthcare operations, preferably in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems, inventory tools, and basic office software.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with patients, staff, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Ranchi, adapt to a dynamic environment, and uphold customer-centric and affordability-focused values.
