Position: Performance Marketing Head — GT & MT (General Trade & Modern Trade)

Designation: Performance Marketing Head — GT & MT

Location: Ahmedabad (Work from Office — 5 days a week, no hybrid)

Experience: 8–12 years in FMCG trade marketing / GT–MT sales & distribution

Qualification: Graduate; MBA preferred but not mandatory

Background Sought: Strong Modern Trade & General Trade background required.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As Performance Marketing Head — GT & MT, you will build and lead the company's offline trade charter — GT & MT — turning a young wellness brand into a name found on shelves across Gujarat and beyond.

ROLE

• Own trade marketing and sales strategy across General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels.
• Build and manage the distributor, stockist and retail network across Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Rajkot, Surat and expansion markets.
• Own Modern Trade key-account relationships (large retail chains, supermarkets) — listings, visibility, promotions and trade schemes.
• Drive General Trade expansion — distributor onboarding, secondary sales, and retailer engagement.
• Plan and execute trade marketing calendars, in-store visibility, and promotional schemes.
• Own channel P&L — trade spends, margins, and ROI on trade investment.
• Build reporting systems to track secondary and tertiary sales.

MUST HAVES

• 8+ years in GT/MT trade marketing or sales, ideally in FMCG, wellness or personal care.
• Proven experience building or scaling distribution networks and Modern Trade key accounts.
• Strong on-ground execution ability — building the channel from scratch, not just running an existing one.
• Lean-team, no-legacy-baggage attitude — hands-on and comfortable with a startup pace.
