Part-Time 6amMart Laravel Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Backend Developer to maintain, customise and develop features for our existing 6amMart marketplace application purchased from CodeCanyon.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with 6amMart or similar Laravel-based multi-vendor marketplace systems.

• Payment gateway integrations
• SMS/Email integrations

Experience with Flutter mobile applications and API integration will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and customise the existing 6amMart backend
• Develop new backend features and APIs
• Fix bugs and troubleshoot existing functionality
• Work with MySQL database and optimise queries when required
• Integrate and maintain third-party APIs
• Work with payment gateways, Google Maps, Firebase and notification services
• Maintain and improve the Laravel Admin and Store Panels
• Deploy updates to our server
• Investigate and resolve production issues
• Coordinate with mobile/web developers when API changes are required
• Keep proper backups and follow safe development practices
• Document important changes made to the system

Required Skills

• Strong PHP and Laravel experience
• Good MySQL knowledge
• Experience developing REST APIs
• Experience with Git
• Experience with Linux server environments
• Understanding of authentication, APIs and database design
• Ability to understand and modify an existing Laravel codebase
• Previous experience with 6amMart is highly preferred
