Owner

Role Description The Owner role at Terra Stream Energy is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The Owner is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, overseeing operational performance, and ensuring that advisory and consultancy services deliver measurable value to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include guiding project portfolios, reviewing major proposals and engagements, managing key client relationships, and making high-level decisions on resource allocation and investment priorities. The role involves collaborating with technical and commercial experts, monitoring market developments in oil and gas and the energy transition, and ensuring compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations. The Owner is also expected to lead business development efforts, represent the company in external forums, and foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and ethical practice.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and strategic management skills, with experience in directing multidisciplinary teams and overseeing complex, multi-country operations.
• Deep industry expertise in upstream oil and gas, energy advisory, and/or energy transition projects, including exposure to field development, asset evaluation, and project execution.
• Robust financial acumen, including budgeting, investment analysis, risk management, and familiarity with mergers and acquisitions or large-scale transactions.
• Excellent stakeholder and client relationship skills, with the ability to negotiate, influence, and build long-term partnerships across operators, investors, and technical experts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a track record of sound decision-making under uncertainty and in fast-changing market environments.
• Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to represent the organization in high-level meetings, industry events, and public forums.
• Experience with governance, regulatory compliance, and HSE (health, safety, and environment) standards in the energy sector.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Geoscience, Business, Finance, or a related field;
