Operations Executive – Quality, Warehouse & Dispatch Morning Owl | Bangalore

Morning Owl makes premium natural latex mattresses in Kerala and sells direct to customers across India. We’re looking for a hands-on operations person in Bangalore to make sure every mattress reaches the customer in perfect condition and on time.

What you’ll do

• Receive incoming stock from our Kerala factory and inspect every mattress before it goes into storage or dispatch (size, firmness, finish, cover, packaging, transit damage)
• Flag defects or damage to the factory with photos, and hold flawed pieces back
• Manage the Bangalore warehouse: stock counts, storage, and keeping inventory in sync with orders
• Plan daily dispatches for local Bangalore and outstation orders
• Coordinate with transporters, couriers and local delivery vendors
• Track every shipment until delivery, and proactively update customers on any delay
• Batch local deliveries, plan routes, and compare transport options to cut freight costs
• Help plan restock from Kerala based on what’s selling, so we don’t run short or overstock

What we’re looking for

• 2–5 years in warehouse, dispatch, logistics or QC (furniture, mattress, home goods or D2C preferred)
• Experience with transporters and courier partners, both local and outstation
• Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp coordination; Shopify familiarity is a plus
• Clear, polite communicator in English and Kannada/Hindi (Malayalam is a bonus for factory coordination)
• Detail-obsessed: you’d rather hold a shipment than send a flawed product
• Two-wheeler preferred
