Operational Buyer

Job description

The Buyer is responsible for the sourcing, procurement direct & indirect and contract management of goods and services required by the organization. The role ensures the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials while maintaining the required standards of quality, compliance, and supplier performance.

• Execute purchasing activities for goods and services in accordance with company policies and procurement procedures.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely order fulfilment to support operational requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules, and order status, resolving any supply or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, pricing information, contracts, and supplier data in procurement systems.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and continuity of supply.
• Support cost optimization initiatives through effective supplier management, negotiation, and demand planning.
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, quality standards, and applicable regulations.

• Experience – 3-6 Years
• Should support direct & indirect procurement
• Industry – Aerospace, Auto Industry.
