Data Engineering & Technical Skills

Strong experience in Data Engineering, including building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.

Proficient in Python and SQL, with handson expertise in writing complex queries, performance tuning, and automation.

Skilled in Google BigQuery and modern cloud-based data warehousing technologies.

Competent in Database Administration, including schema management, optimization, and monitoring.

Knowledge of Data Modelling & Design, including dimensional modelling, relational schema design, and best practices.

Understanding of Data Architecture concepts, including data flows, storage patterns, and system integration.

Foundational experience in Software Engineering, including coding standards, version control, and structured development practices.

Exposure to DevOps practices and tools to support CI/CD and environment management.

Working knowledge of Technical Operations for ensuring data availability, reliability, and operational excellence.

Basic understanding of Quality Engineering concepts for validating data accuracy and system reliability.

Data Governance, Security & Responsible AI

Awareness of Data Privacy, Ethics & Security, ensuring compliance with data protection and regulatory requirements.

Understanding of Data Management & Governance, including metadata management, data quality, and stewardship.

Good understanding on Responsible AI principles and AI Literacy, ensuring ethical and explainable use of AI/ML technologies.

Analytical & Business Skills

Strong Data Storytelling capabilities to translate data insights into meaningful business narratives.

High level of Data Literacy for interpreting, analyzing, and communicating data effectively.

Robust Critical Thinking to evaluate data solutions, troubleshoot issues, and make informed decisions.

Experience in Customer Centricity, with the ability to design solutions that meet business and customer needs.

Working knowledge of Service Design concepts to help build user-focused solutions.

Collaboration & Delivery Skills

Competent in Communication, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Skilled in Coaching & Feedback, supporting knowledge sharing and team development.

Good understanding of Agile Methodology & Tools, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery.

Capable of Performance & Goal Management, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with team and organizational priorities.

Exposure to Solutions Design, helping shape technical approaches aligned with business requirements.
