We are seeking a skilled Ontology & Knowledge Graph Engineer | Bangalore having 8+ yrs of strong experience.

Must-Have Skills

• 8+ years of overall IT/software engineering experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Ontology / Knowledge Graph
• Strong expertise in Ontology Modeling and Semantic Web
• Hands-on experience with RDF, OWL, and SKOS
• Strong knowledge of SPARQL and Cypher
• Gremlin – Mandatory
• Hands-on experience with Azure Cosmos DB – Gremlin API
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining knowledge graphs
• Ability to translate business/domain concepts into scalable ontologies and semantic models
• Good understanding of graph data modeling, relationships, entities, and semantic reasoning

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade ontologies and knowledge graphs
• Define concepts, entities, relationships, properties, and semantic models
• Develop and maintain RDF/OWL/SKOS-based ontologies
• Write and optimize SPARQL, Cypher, and Gremlin queries
• Build and manage graph solutions using Azure Cosmos DB Gremlin
• Develop Python-based utilities and integrations for knowledge graph workflows
• Work with SQL databases and integrate structured data with graph-based models
• Collaborate with data, engineering, and domain teams to identify knowledge modeling requirements
• Ensure ontology and knowledge graph solutions are scalable, reusable, and maintainable
