Job Description: NOC Lead

Location: Hyderabad

Employment Type: Full-Time (Hybrid)

Experience: 10–15 Years

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the NOC team, promoting best practices and continuous improvement
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Monitor network performance and ensure minimal downtime across systems
• Investigate, contain, and remediate security incidents
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using tools like ping, traceroute, netstat, Wireshark
• Manage and optimize network access control mechanisms
• Work on incident management, root cause analysis, and resolution within SLAs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for infrastructure improvements
• Ensure compliance with security standards and frameworks

Experience

Technical Skills Required

Networking & Protocols

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
• Experience with protocols: DHCP, DNS, NTP, VPN, QoS
• Understanding of common network protocols and services

Routing & WAN Technologies

• Hands-on experience with:
• OSPF, EIGRP, BGP
• MPLS, SD-WAN
• Label Switching & Traffic Engineering

Security & Compliance

• Knowledge of Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Authentication mechanisms
• Understanding of ISO 27001, NIST standards
• Experience in handling and resolving security incidents

Tools & Troubleshooting

• Expertise in:
• Wireshark
• Netstat
• Traceroute / Ping
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
