We are searching for a highly skilled Software Developer to join a dynamic CRO team on a 12-month contract, based in Bangalore (remote options available). This is your chance to leverage your expertise in Snowflake, Python, and SQL to drive innovative data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes that power critical business insights. What you’ll need to succeed

• At least 10 years of IT experience in data engineering or related fields, with over 6 years focused on Snowflake and data warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on expertise with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and data sharing.
• Proficiency in Python, especially Snowpark, and SQL for developing data pipelines, stored procedures, and automation.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and optimizing complex data transformations and queries.
• Skilled in integrating data from various sources such as SFTP, AWS S3, and Excel.
• Familiarity with project tools like JIRA and Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot data and configuration issues efficiently.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Automic scheduling tools.
• Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance standards.

Preferred Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related IT or data field.
• 6+ years specifically working with Snowflake Data Engineering concepts.

Additional Requirements

• Availability for a 12-month engagement with a weekly commitment of 42.5 hours.
• Willingness to work from Bangalore or remotely.
• Ability to adapt quickly to project needs, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
