Network & System Administrator

Job Title :Network & System Administrator Experience : 2 - 5 Years Location : Hyderabad Industry : IT / Software Services Employment Type : Full-Time Job Summary Key Responsibilities Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure , including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks. Manage and maintain Windows/Linux servers including installation, patching, monitoring, and upgrades. Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and user access management . Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network, server, and infrastructure issues . Implement and manage network security systems , including firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, and VPN access. Perform regular system backups and disaster recovery management . Support cloud infrastructure and virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or AWS/Azure (if applicable). Provide L2 technical support for internal teams regarding system and network issues. Maintain documentation for network architecture, system configurations, and IT policies . Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, upgrades, and maintenance . Ensure IT compliance, security standards, and system availability across the organization. Required Skills : Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, LAN/WAN, VLAN, VPN, routing, and switching . Hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration and Linux environments . Experience managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file servers . Familiarity with firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Sophos, etc.) . Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware / Hyper-V) . Knowledge of network monitoring tools and troubleshooting techniques . Understanding of IT security practices and backup solutions . Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering . Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, MCSA, RHCSA, or equivalent . Experience in IT services or product-based company environments .
