MongoDB Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced MongoDB Developer with strong expertise in MongoDB administration, database performance tuning, replication, sharding, backup/recovery, and high-availability environments. The candidate will work closely with application and technical teams to ensure database reliability, performance, security, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain MongoDB databases in production environments.
• Configure and manage replica sets, sharding, backup, and recovery.
• Perform query optimization, indexing, and aggregation pipeline tuning.
• Monitor MongoDB performance and proactively identify and troubleshoot database issues.
• Implement database security, access controls, and compliance practices.
• Support application teams with NoSQL data modeling and schema design.
• Design and maintain highly available and scalable MongoDB environments.
• Perform database troubleshooting, capacity planning, and performance analysis.
• Develop and maintain Linux/Shell scripts for database administration and automation.
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to resolve production issues.

Required Skills

• 5–7 years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on MongoDB expertise.
• Strong experience in MongoDB Administration and Performance Tuning.
• Excellent knowledge of NoSQL data modeling and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Replication / Replica Sets
• Sharding
• Backup & Recovery
• Indexing
• Aggregation Pipelines
• Query Optimization
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Shell Scripting.
• Experience with database monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
• Understanding of database security, access management, and high availability.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
