MERN Stack Developer (Hyderabad)

As a MERN Stack Developer in the Product Engineering team at Cubic, you will play a crucial role in designing and building full-stack web applications that are essential for powering customer-facing products, internal platforms, and data-driven systems utilized in real-world transit environments. This role is perfect for individuals who thrive on product ownership, system thinking, and crafting software that operates at scale with reliability and real-world impact.**Key Responsibilities:**- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React, and Node.js.- Build responsive, accessible, and high-performance frontend applications using React.- Develop secure, scalable backend services and REST APIs.- Translate product requirements into technical designs and implement working Contribute to applications supporting fare systems, operations dashboards, reporting tools, and internal platforms.**Engineering Excellence:**- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following Cubics engineering standards.- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and architecture decisions.- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment readiness.- Collaborate in debugging production issues and supporting releases with cross-functional teams.**Collaboration:**- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, System Engineers, QA, DevOps, and UX teams.- Engage in collaboration across global engineering teams in India, US, UK, and APAC.- Understand system-level constraints common in transportation, payments, and regulated environments.**Required Skills & Experience:**- 3 - 6 years of hands-on experience in MERN stack development.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6).- Solid experience with React (hooks, component architecture, state management).- Strong backend development experience using Node.js and Express.js.- Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design and performance Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs.- Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.- Proficient in using Git, participating in code reviews, and following Agile development practices.Please note that the job is for an Employee.
