MERN Stack Developer (3–5 Years)

About the Role

Ship production web apps end to end, from API design to deployment, working directly with product and design teams. You will also add AI capabilities like LLM integrations and RAG to client products.

Key Responsibilities

• Build full-stack apps with React, Next.js, Node.js, NestJS, and MongoDB
• Design REST APIs and modular NestJS backends (DI, guards, DTOs)
• Use Next.js SSR, SSG, ISR, and server components for performance and SEO
• Integrate LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source) with RAG and vector stores
• Own CI/CD, containerized releases, and security practices (JWT/OAuth, OWASP)
• Write tests, review code, and deliver features in sprints

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years building full-stack JavaScript/TypeScript applications
• Strong TypeScript, with production React and Next.js (App Router)
• Production Node.js and NestJS (or Express with NestJS architecture knowledge)
• MongoDB: schema design, indexing, aggregation pipelines
• Hands-on CI/CD (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins), Git, Docker, and AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Testing experience (Jest, Playwright, or Cypress)

• AI features: LLM APIs, RAG, vector databases, LangChain or LlamaIndex
• Kubernetes, Terraform, Redis, message queues, or WebSockets
• Observability (Sentry, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and microservices or monorepos
