About the Role

We are building a delivery team for a large, multi-phase enterprise Mendix programme and are looking for an experienced Mendix Native Mobile Developer to design, develop, and publish native iOS and Android applications.

The application will leverage an existing Mendix backend, domain models, microflows, and published services. The role will also involve React Native custom development for requirements that are not supported out of the box by Mendix Native Mobile.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Mendix Native Mobile applications for iOS and Android using existing Mendix backend services.
• Develop custom React Native/native modules for advanced mobile capabilities.
• Implement complete Arabic/English bilingual support, including RTL layouts.
• Implement certificate pinning, secure local storage, and offline form drafts.
• Integrate card payments, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay through the designated payment gateway.
• Implement national digital identity authentication, biometric login, and OIDC/SSO where required.
• Develop mobile features including push notifications, status tracking, camera, and gallery-based document uploads.
• Manage and support App Store and Google Play publishing under client developer accounts.
• Support mobile application security testing, remediation, and release activities.
• Collaborate with backend, QA, security, and business teams to deliver enterprise-grade mobile solutions.

Required Experience & Skills

• 5+ years of overall mobile application development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Mendix Native Mobile.
• Strong experience with React Native, including development of custom native modules.
• Hands-on experience with RTL and Arabic mobile interfaces.
• Experience implementing certificate pinning and secure mobile storage.
• Experience integrating Apple Pay and Samsung Pay or similar mobile wallet/payment solutions.
• Experience publishing applications to both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Good understanding of mobile application security, authentication, and API integration.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and enterprise application environments.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Mendix certification — please mention certification level and certificate ID, if applicable.
• Experience with OIDC, SSO, and identity providers on mobile.
• Experience in government, financial, or other regulated-sector projects.
• Experience with case-management or large enterprise systems.
• Arabic language proficiency.
• Previous experience delivering projects in the Middle East/GCC region.

Project Overview

The project involves developing a secure enterprise mobile application for the Middle East market. The solution will be fully bilingual in Arabic and English, with right-to-left support, national digital identity authentication, biometric login, and secure in-app payments.

The initial phase focuses on core mobile capabilities, with subsequent phases introducing additional business modules and functionality.
