Role Description The Mechanical Electrical Plumbing (MEP) Engineer will manage the design, coordination, and execution of MEP systems for commercial and healthcare developments. This full-time, on-site role is based in Ludhiana and involves overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing services in line with project specifications, codes, and safety standards. The MEP Engineer will collaborate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure seamless integration of all building services. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings, preparing technical reports, monitoring site progress, conducting inspections, and supporting quality assurance and compliance documentation. The role also involves optimizing system performance, managing cost-effective solutions, and assisting in planning and scheduling to meet project timelines.
Qualifications
- B.tech with 10-12 Years of experience
- Strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering principles, including building services design and coordination.
- Experience with MEP drawings, layouts, and technical documentation, and the ability to review, interpret, and provide practical feedback.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Office) for design, drafting, and reporting.
- Knowledge of local and national building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards applicable to commercial and healthcare projects.
- Hands-on experience in site supervision, installation oversight, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for resolving technical issues on site.
- Effective communication and collaboration abilities to work with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors.
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering; relevant MEP certifications are an advantage.
- Prior experience in real estate development, commercial complexes, or healthcare facilities is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Ludhiana, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to fast-paced project environments.
