Manager – Logistics (India)

Position: Manager – Logistics

Location: Cochin

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master’s degree is an added advantage

Experience: 8–12 years of progressive experience in international logistics, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role in the spice or food industry

Salary: Upto 15 Lacs

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the complete export and domestic logistics operations for export and domestic markets
• Ensure timely and efficient movement of goods, aligning with production schedules and delivery commitments.
• Manage and supervise all customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with local and international trade regulations.
• Lead commercial negotiations and manage contracts with freight forwarders, shipping liners, airlines, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers to achieve optimal cost, service levels, and operational efficiency.
• Select and evaluate carriers/forwarders, monitoring their performance against defined criteria.
• Identify and assess current logistics partners to enhance supply chain resilience, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial dealings and contract negotiations with freight forwarders, shipping liners (ocean, air, and road freight), and warehouse service providers.
• Strong hands-on experience and in-depth knowledge of customs clearance, import/export regulations, and international trade compliance.
