Manager/ Asst. Manager - Finance And Accounts

KGMC India is expanding its finance team and looking for a strong, hands-on

Finance Manager who can manage multiple client assignments across

India and the MENA region and lead a team of 5+ professionals.

We are looking for someone who can take complete ownership of finance delivery — from accounting and monthly closure to taxation, financial reporting, MIS, audit coordination, client management and process automation.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

Team Management

• Lead and manage a team of 5+ finance professionals
• Allocate work, set timelines and monitor deliverables
• Review quality and accuracy before delivery to clients
• Mentor the team and build structured, process-driven working

Accounting & Financial Reporting

• Supervise day-to-day accounting for multiple clients
• Work on Tally Prime, Tally automation/TDL and Zoho Books
• Ensure timely monthly book closure and reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules
• Financial reporting under Schedule III for Indian entities

Tax & Compliance -India

• GST, GSTR-1/3B, GSTR-2B and ITC reconciliation
• E-invoicing, e-way bills and related compliance
• TDS computation, returns and reconciliations
• Income Tax returns and computations
• Tax Audit support and handling routine notices/queries

Tax & Compliance -MENA

• VAT computation and filing
• E-invoicing related compliance
• WHT computation, returns
• Zakat/corporate Tax returns and computations

MIS & Financial Analysis

• Prepare monthly MIS and financial reporting for management
• Analyse profitability, working capital and cash flows
• Prepare budgets, forecasts and variance analysis
• Convert financial data into actionable business insights

Audit & Client Management

• Coordinate with statutory and external auditors
• Handle audit queries and documentation
• Experience dealing with Big-4 auditors from the auditee/client side is preferred
• Communicate independently with clients across India and MENA
• Visit client locations when required

Technology & Automation

• Advanced Excel — lookups, logical functions, Pivot Tables, large datasets and reconciliations
• Power Query / Power Pivot / VBA is an advantage
• Practical use of AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude for finance, analysis, research, reconciliation and workflow improvement
• Identify repetitive activities and drive automation

✅ Mandatory Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant experience in a CA firm, finance/management consulting, accounting outsourcing, Virtual CFO or finance process outsourcing environment
• Proven experience managing a team of 5+ members
• Strong hands-on accounting experience
• Tally Prime / Tally ERP and Zoho Books
• Strong exposure to Indian taxation and compliance
• Schedule III financial statement preparation
• Experience coordinating with Big-4 auditors from the auditee/client side
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong client communication skills
• Practical exposure to AI/automation in finance is highly desirable

CA /Semi-Qualified / Dropout CMA MBA – Finance M.Com
