Role Description The Management Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based in Anthiyur, responsible for overseeing financial reporting and supporting management decision-making. Daily tasks include preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing accruals, monitoring costs and margins across wholesale and retail operations, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. The role involves maintaining accurate accounting records, ensuring compliance with relevant financial policies, and collaborating with operations and sales teams to provide timely financial insights. The Management Accountant will also support cash flow monitoring, variance analysis, and contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and controls.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong accounting and finance skills, including practical experience with Accounting and Finance principles.
• Candidates should possess expertise in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements and managing Accruals.
• Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support business decisions.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Candidates should possess good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce; professional certifications (e.g., CMA, CA Inter) are an advantage.
• Experience in a trading, wholesale, or retail environment, preferably in building materials or related sectors, is beneficial.
