Job Description

• Strong hands-on experience in

Magento 2 backend development

, custom module development, and Adobe Commerce.

• Excellent knowledge of

PHP, MySQL, REST API, GraphQL, and OOP concepts

(SOLID principles, interfaces, abstract classes, inheritance, etc.).

• Strong understanding of

Magento architecture, object lifecycle, dependency injection, service contracts, and design patterns

• Factory
• Proxy
• Virtual Type
• Type Object
• Plugins
• Events & Observers
• Good understanding and hands-on experience with

Magento indexing

, including custom indexers, MView, and indexer issue troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of

SQL optimization

, database indexing, query optimization, and Magento EAV structure.

• Experience with

Composer dependency management

, Magento upgrades, and extension management.

• Good understanding of

Git workflow, coding standards, code review process, and deployment practices

.

• Experience with

Redis, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, RabbitMQ, caching mechanisms, and performance optimization

.

• Strong experience in

third-party integrations

(Payment, Shipping, ERP, CRM, external APIs).

• Ability to debug complex Magento issues and provide scalable solutions.
• Experience with

large catalog/high-volume Magento projects

is preferred.

• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with

Adobe App Builder and Adobe Commerce integrations will be a plus

.

• Good understanding of

Magento security practices

, ACL, data validation, and secure coding standards.

• Understanding of

CI/CD pipelines, deployment process, and environment management

• Experience working on

large-scale Magento projects with high traffic and large catalogs

• Ability to create technical solutions, perform code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
