Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

Join our AI team building a realtime AI avatar platform — talking-head avatars, voice cloning, and streaming conversational AI. You'll work directly under senior ML engineers and grow into model training, inference optimisation, and production ML — real product work from week one, not just support tasks.

Roles & responsibilities

• Assist in dataset preparation, cleaning, and annotation pipelines for model training
• Run and monitor training experiments; maintain experiment tracking and logs
• Write and test Python scripts for data processing, evaluation, and benchmarking (latency, FPS, output quality)
• Support model integration and testing within our streaming and backend stack
• Read research papers and reproduce results under senior guidance
• Document experiments, results, and pipeline setups

Skills required

• Strong Python fundamentals and comfort on Linux command line
• Basics of deep learning — CNNs, transformers, training/validation concepts (coursework or projects fine)
• Exposure to PyTorch (or TensorFlow) through academic projects, internships, or self-learning
• Familiarity with Git, and willingness to learn Docker and cloud GPU workflows
• Strong learning attitude — able to pick up new models and tools quickly

Nice to have

Computer vision or audio processing projects, Kaggle/hackathon participation, personal GitHub projects, exposure to generative AI (diffusion models, LLM APIs)
