Role Description The Logistics Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Hosur, responsible for overseeing daily logistics operations and ensuring timely, cost-effective movement of goods. This role includes managing inbound and outbound shipments, coordinating with transport partners, and monitoring delivery schedules and documentation. The Logistics Manager will supervise inventory flow, collaborate with procurement and production teams, and maintain accurate records to support planning and reporting. The role involves optimizing warehouse and storage utilization, resolving logistics issues, and improving processes to enhance service levels and reduce costs. The Logistics Manager will also engage with customers and internal stakeholders to address logistics-related queries and ensure a high level of service.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Logistics Management and Supply Chain Management to oversee end-to-end movement of goods and align logistics activities with business needs.
• Proficiency in Inventory Management to control stock levels, track material movement, and support accurate demand planning.
• Experience in Procurement to coordinate with suppliers, manage material availability, and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Customer Service skills to handle logistics-related inquiries, manage expectations, and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field; relevant certifications in logistics or supply chain are an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP or inventory management systems, with strong analytical and reporting abilities.
• Proven experience in a logistics or supply chain management role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work on-site in Hosur in a fast-paced setting.
