SOC Log Integrator Engineer

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science with Proven experience as a Log Integration Engineer, Platform Engineer, or Cloud Engineer in a cybersecurity or SOC environment.

· Strong experience with Fluentd and Bindplane (or similar log collectors) and log processing frameworks.

· Good understanding of log parsing, enrichment techniques and normalization. Familiar with ASIM, UDM, OCSF, DSM, ECS, CIM, CEF, LEEF.

· Solid knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure services related to monitoring and logging.

· Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, etc.).

· Proficiency in Ruby (for Fluentd plugins or log pipeline development) and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.

· Familiarity with SIEM solutions (Elastic SIEM, Sentinel, or equivalent).

· Understanding of cybersecurity concepts, detection engineering, and SOC operations.

· Experience with DevSecOps methodologies and automation practices.

· Knowledge with SIGMA, YARA rules format and conversion

· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders (IT, business, and security teams).

· Certifications such as AWS Certified Security, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer, Azure Security Engineer Associate, SANS, OSCP or similar.

· We are looking for a SOC Log Integrator & Parsing Engineer to join our Cybersecurity team within the Security Operations Center (SOC).

· Design, implement, and maintain end-to-end log collection pipelines.

· Manage and optimize log ingestion and forwarding systems using broker tools such as Fluentd and Bindplane.

· Contribute to continuous improvement of SOC observability and detection capabilities.

· Maintain documentation and diagrams for all log integration workflows and components

· Develop advanced parsing to normalize and structure data according to specific schema.

· Implement parsers-as-a-code to ingest large volume of data from various custom sources.

· Ensure log quality, reliability, and standardization across all integrated systems.

· Collaborate with network engineers, business application owners, and security analysts to onboard new log sources.

· Troubleshoot and resolve log ingestion or parsing issues in coordination with stakeholders.

· Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of log integration configurations.

· Apply DevSecOps practices to secure and automate the log ingestion process.

· Create continuous detection to monitor ingest pipeline.

· Work with Agentic AI to create parsers.
