Life/400 Developers

Key Responsibilities –

• Develop, enhance, maintain, and support applications on IBM AS400/IBM i.
• Work with RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2 and related technologies.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, and production support.
• Participate in application enhancements, defect fixes, and maintenance activities.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, functional teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot application issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–8 years of relevant IT experience.
• Hands-on experience with AS400 / IBM i / iSeries.
• Strong experience in RPG/RPGLE / RPG IV / ILE RPG.
• Knowledge of DB2 / SQL / SQLRPGLE.
• Exposure to CL/CLLE and legacy application environments.
• Experience working on Life Insurance applications is preferred.
• Good understanding of application development, maintenance, and production support.

• Must be willing to work from the client office in Mumbai.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and technical teams.
• Candidates who can join at short notice will be preferred.
